- Identification and Description of Occurrence:

The gaseous channel of continuous air monitor 0-RM-90-252 read downscale during an internal calibration check of the counting ratemeter.

Conditions Prior to Occurrence:

Unit 1 at 88%.

Unit 2 at 99%.

Unit 3 in ref ueling outage.

Action specified in the Technical Specification Surveillance Requirements met

None Apparent Cause of OccmTence:

Instrument drift.

Analysis of Occurrence:

There was no dcager to the health or safety of the public, no release of activity, no damage to ,the plant or equipment, and no resulting significant chain of events.

Corrective Action:

The counting ratemeter calibration on the NMC model AM-331F(BF) continuous air monitor was perfortred per SI 4.8.B.4-4 and the channel returned to service.

This is considered a rand e event and no further recurrence control is required.
