6 RANCHO SECO NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION UNIT 1 Your letter of November 24, 1981, required that an implementation schedule be submitted if Amendment 9 to the Rancho Seco Physical Security Plan could not be fully implemented within 30 days of approval.

Due to equipment procurement problems, we are unable to implement all items by the implementation date. Enclosed is a schedule for implementation of the remaining items in the Plan. The schedule shows that final installation will be complete by June 1, 1982 and then the equipment will be fully operational a few weeks after that date.

If we can provide any additional information, please advise.
