RANCHO SECO NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION - UNIT NO 1 Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(p) and 50.90, the District is hereby sub-mitting five copies of the District's Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station Security Plan as amended by Amendment 9.
This submittal is as requested by your letter of May 11, 1981.
Some of the Amendment 9 changes would decrease the effectiveness of the Security Plan.
However, with these char.ges the plan still meets or exceeds the requirements of 10CFR 73.55.
Also submitted for your information are the following, all of which wholly or partially, as applicable, refer to changes incorporated in Amendment 9:

District Comments (Response) to NRC comments, Amendment 7 and 8 dated May 18, 1981.
This document addresses NRC comments transmitted to the District by your letter of April 14, 1981.
Soma of the responses to these questions have resulted in Amendment 9 changes.

Security Analysis Report, 16CFR 50.54(p), Amendment 9 to the Security olan (Supplemental Report) dated May 15, 1981.
This document addresses proposed changes and the District's eval-uation of them.
These changes resulted from discussions with your staff over our March 6,1981 submittal proposing the initial Amendment 9 changes.
The enclosures contain information of the types specified in 10CFR 2.790(d) and should be withheld from public disclosure.
