I The subject Report BAW-1621, " Effects of Asyn.,etric LOCA Loadings - Phase Il Analysis" by B&W, was transmitted to you generically for B&W 177A plants by reference 1.

By reference 2, we informed you that we will get back with you l

with an evaluation of their report applicable to Crystal River Unit 3.

We have reviewed the generic report and determined that it demonstrates the ability of CR-3 to maintain core coolability for the unlikely possibility of asymmetric LOCA loads.

To provide the required horizontal clearance at the Service Support Structure, the Reactor Head Cable Access Platform will be modified. This will be accomplished in a subsequent plant refueling outage.
