Facility: BSEP Unit No. 1 Event Date: May 14, 1980 The corrosion in the magnetic analyzer sample cell was caused by moisture in the analyzer sample line. Due to the his.cory of similar problems involving this type of analyzer, engineering is developing a plant modi-fication to replace the containment analyzer with a more dependable type.

Currently these monitors are calibrated and operationally checkad on a biweekly basis.
