Item 6 of IE Bulletin 75-04A requires a schedule for accomplishment of any revision to our p'olicies and procedures and any proposed changes to the facility, to assure that consideration'for alternate methods for accomplishing an orderly plant shutdown and cooldown are provided in case of loss of normal and preferred alternate shutdown and cooldown systems at the Donald C- Cook Nuclear Plant. Our letter to you dated tune 27, 1975 provided this schedule.

In addition, Item 6 requests summary reports detailing our monthly progress. This letter is the, ninth such monthly report.

'I All 'required changes to air-operated valves are to be made during the next scheduled outage which starts

'April 10, 1976.

Mechanical and electrical drawings for the local shutdown panels are to be completed by the third week in April 1976. These are to be forwarded to our-

4 I

J. G. Keppler March 30, 1976 vendor for panel fabrication. Panel hardvare such as indicators, breakers, transformers and pover supplies have various scheduled delivery dates but none are later than June 1, 1976. The completed panels are expected be shipped to the plant shortly after this date.

'o Installation would begin immediately upon receipt. 'owever, an outage is required to make electrical connections to one of the three panels-Therefore, ve cannot expect all vrork on these changes to be finished until the first extensive unit outage after delivery of the panels. The connections to this last panel and subsequent testing vill complete the cwork.
