Repor"able Occurrence 335-76-9 Licensee Event Report Page Two Cause Descri tion (continued) that moisture had caused oxidation of internal carbon steel parts which had then caused the snubbers to 1'ock. Followup action was to send the other

three snubbers to the manufacturer for laboratory testing and analysis. A

'followup report will be prepared and submitted upon completion of the inves-tigation.

.The five defective snubbers were found in the following order:
