The pane 1 was not in an alarmed condition; however the annunciator would not clear. The fault would have masked an alarm si nal from the encl which is required to be operational (T. S ~ 3~ 11. Cs 1) ~ There was no hazard to the publ ic health or safety. Thexe are no redundant systems. Previous occurrences: None.

Conditions Prior to Occurrence:

Normal power operation at 94K power.

Action specified in the Technical Specification Surveillance Requirements met due to ino erable e ui ment. Describe.

investigation revealed no fire and no alarm at fire protection panel 25-236.

A arent Cause of Occurrence:

Failure of the associated annunciator point card (Technology, Inc. P/N 314773) caused the annunciator to alarm continuously.

Anal sis of Occurrence:

There are no redundant systems. There was no hazard to the public health or safety.

Corrective Action:

The annunciator point card was replaced and the system was referred to normal operation. A fire watch was established to monitor the affected area.
