The- failure was random and no recurrence 4 control action is appropriate.

Conditions Prior to Occurrence:

Unit operating at 100 percent power.

Redundant component PCV-32-63 was demonstrated operable immediately in

'accordance with T,ST 3 '.D.2.

A arent Cause of Occurrence:

PCV-32 62 failed to operate due to failure of its electropneumatic control valve, FSV-32-62.

Anal sis of Occurrence:

FSV-32-62, AAA Products'odel S02, 1/4-inch, 4-way, electropneumatic'alve.,failed due to an internal 0"ring failure during normal operation.

Corrective Action:

PSV-32-62 was replaced due to a shortage of spare parts, and subsequent retesting was satis&cCagy, None previous, Tennessee Valley Authority - Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant
