PLACPetitionReceivedatPilgrim95003PublicMeeting1/31/2017 At the January 31 public meeting in Plymouth, the Pilgrim Legislative Advisory Coalition provided to the NRC a copy of a petition requesting the agency shut down Pilgrim ahead of the upcoming refueling outage in May (attached). We have completed our review of the information that was provided and have determined that our February 21, 2017, letter to Mr. James Garb, that was previously sent to your organization at the following address, Pilgrim Legislative Advisory Coalition, P.O. Box 823, Yarmouth Port, MA 02675, provides the basis for the NRCs current decision to not shut Pilgrim down before the planned refueling outage scheduled for Spring 2017. I have attached a copy of that letter (ML17052A299)to this email for your convenience.
