RE: Thank you

Dear Mrs. Turco,

We are glad that you found our July meeting informative. Sorry for any confusion that our discussion of upcoming fuel moves may have caused. Currently there is only one spent fuel campaign scheduled at Pilgrim for this fuel cycle. It begins this fall and is being performed to prepare for the upcoming Spring 2017 outage. It is not related in any way to the boraflex panel problems recently identified in the Pilgrim spent fuel pool. We continue to inspect the issues associated with the boraflex degradation in the Pilgrim spent fuel pool including the analysis and corrective actions Entergy is completing to restore compliance with the plants technical specifications. The results of our review will be documented in an upcoming NRC inspection report. Thank you for the link to the vulnerability study.

[External_Sender] Thank you

Dear Mr. Burritt and Ms. Carfang,

We greatly appreciate your time yesterday meeting with us to discuss our serious concerns regarding the ongoing operation of Pilgrim and the spent fuel pool dangers. It was mentioned that spent fuel was being removed this fall, also possibly winter or spring. Is the fall transfer due to the panel problems? And the latter during refueling? Also, attached it a link to the vulnerability study done with Pilgrim on the list.

Again, thank you for your time, Diane http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/study-us-nuclear-reactors-vulnerable-to-terrorist-attack-219792561.html
