- 6. PART 6 - Security Plans The security plans and relevant supplemental information comprise Part 6 of the licensing application under 10 CFR Part 52. The security plans, as described in 10 CFR 73.55(c)(1),
consist of the Physical Security Plan (PSP), Training and Qualification Plan (T&QP), Safeguards Contingency Plan (SCP) and Cyber Security Plan (CSP). For a combined license (COL) application, the PSP, T&QP, SCP and CSP are submitted to the NRC as required by 10 CFR 52.79(a)(35)(i) and (36)(i), (ii) and (iii).
There is no security plan requirement for an early site permit (ESP) or design certification (DC) application - therefore, Part 6 is not applicable to these applications.
Part 6 contains Safeguards Information as defined in §73.2. The applicant shall protect the plans and other related Safeguards Information against unauthorized disclosure in accordance with the requirements of §73.21. Accordingly, Part 6 should be submitted to the NRC separate from other parts of the application and under the appropriate packaging.

Description of the implementation of the safeguards contingency plan, training and qualification plan, and cyber security plan

Special Nuclear Material (SNM) material control and accounting program description
- 8)
New fuel shipping plan
- 9)
Mitigative strategies description and plans required by §52.80(d)
- 10)
Safeguards Information in support of any requested materials licenses pursuant to 10 CFR Parts 30, 40, & 70 1 Inspections, Test, Analyses, and Acceptance Criteria (ITAAC) pertaining to security and safeguards are included in Part 8 of the application. For ITAAC that contain Safeguards Information as defined in § 73.2, the ITAAC are included in this Part 6 and cross-referenced in Part 8.
