AUXILIARY ELECTRIC SUPPLY OPERABILITY AND SURVEILLANCE Re:
San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit No. 1 The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 84 to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-13 for San Onofre Unit No. 1. This amendment is in response to your application dated October 20, 1978, as modified and/or supplemented by your letters of August 26, 1983, November 30, 1983, July 27, 1984, and October 15, 1984.
The amendment approves changes to the Technical Specifications and Bases (Appendix A) which incorporate modifications to the operability and surveillance requirements for the Auxiliary Electric Supplies which provide a higher degree of conformance to the Standard Technical Specifications and reflect certain plant modifications.
Notices of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment to License and Proposed No Significant Hazards Consideration Determination and Opportunity for Hearing related to the requested action were published in the Federal Register on August 22, 1984 (49 FR 33370), March 22, 1984 (49 FR 10743) and August 23, 1983 (48 FR 38421).
No request for hearing was received and no comments were received.
