Re: Media questions re: Pilgrim license renewal review I'm in meetings all day - sorry! How about Monday? That will also give me a chance to look in our files and talk to folks here and see if I can figure out what is going on with this one.

RE: FW: Media questions re: Pilgrim license renewal review Julie and Dennis, How about we set up something for tomorrow afternoon? Does 2pm sound okay?

Dennis will be working at home, so I can set up a bridge line for the three of us.

Julie--We tracked down the record in your PCTS system, which said that NMFS had closed out the Pilgrim consultation with a letter on March 1. 2007. However, we can't find a record of that letter in our online record system. Do you happen to have a copy of that letter that you could 2

J forward to us? I think this would resolve the outstanding question that Jones River Water Association raised about the consultation.

Thanks!

Media questions re: Pilgrim license renewal review Brian, An organization called the Jones River Watershed Association (JRWA) is asserting the NRC likely violated the federal Endangered Species Act while reviewing the Pilgrim license renewal application by ignoring potential impacts to endangered species and their habitat. Pilgrim Watch and JRWA are circulating the attached press release and letter to reporters who cover the plant.

What would be the appropriate response to this? Should we say we just received it and will need to review it, or is there more detail that can be offered at this point?
