(PEC), is submitting the enclosed Supplement 2 to Harris Nuclear Plant's (HNP) initial NFPA 805 License Amendment Request (LAR) (Reference 1). The submittal of this additional information, consisting of "Attachment Y - NFPA 805 Transition Risk Insights," results from the NRC Acceptance Review of the original LAR (References 2 and 3). Previously submitted Supplement 1 to the LAR (Reference 4) provided the balance of the information requested in the Acceptance Review.

titled "Page 50 - HNP NFPA 805 Transition Report - Rev 1. docx" in the Transition Report portion of the submittal dated November 14, 2008 (Reference 4).

In accordance with 10 CFR 50.91(b), HNP is providing the state of North Carolina with a copy of this supplement to the proposed license amendment.

This Supplement contains no new or revised Regulatory Commitments.
