No.2 is attached and includes conditions and limitations for your operation.

Periodic inspection of your operation will be made by personnel of the Division.These inspections will be discussed with you or your personnel.

No.2 Amendment October 27, 1982 I Issued to: Georgia Power Company-Plant Vogtle, Burke County 1.No more than 1500 cubic yards of waste cement asbestos transite board and cement asbestos pipe materials shall be deposited into the landfill.2.All waste cement materials shall be of clean compacted transite board and cement asbestos p1pe covered immediately after disposal with a uniform layer earth not less than one (1)foot in depth.3.Final cover shall consist of no less than two feet of clean earth.

_Date: July 10, 1981 Georgia Power Conpany, Plant Vogtle Industrial Solid Waste Disposal Site (Landfill), located wi thin plant property approximately six miles north of Girard, Georgia, approximately 1500 feet north of the Reactor Building.In accordance with the provisions of the Georgia Solid Waste Management Act, Act 1486, GeQrgia Laws of 1972, as amended, and the Rules and Regulations promulgated pursuant thereto, this permit is issued for the following operation:

Conditions for Landfill Operation:

1.No hazardous or putrescible waste shall be deposited at the landfill.2.Materials placed in the landfill shall be spread in layers and OJI1"If6cted to the least practical volurre.The surface area of exposed waste shall be minimized between cover operations.

3.A minimum of 5 (five)feet of separaticn between the groundwater and the trench oottom shall be rraintained.

4.Erosion and resultant sedirrentation shall be controlled on-site.5.A uniform cc:npacted.

9.Perrranent vegetative cover shall be established as soon as possible on COITpleted portions of the site.10.Access to the landfill shall be limited to authorized entrances which shall be closed when the site is not in operation.

11.No disposal, storage, or any other handling of radioacti ,,1: rraterial is p:=rmitted at this disposal site.
