Meeting summary for your information Fred:
Please look at the meeting summary and see if you have any comments and confirm ASAP.
I am issuing the RAIs on the two TLAAs which we discussed (CRD return nozzle end cap weld and the thermal sleeve crack on the Rx recirculation nozzle) as soon as I receive concurrence from my legal staff.
There are 7-8 RAIs on Neutron embrittlement for which I owe you a draft transmittal and perhaps a phone call with your staff. These are on P-T limits, ART calculations and EFPY math and so forth. So, stand by.

SUMMARY
OF CONFERENCE CALL ON AUGUST 1, 2006 WITH ENTERGY NUCLEAR OPERATIONS, INC., ON POTENTIAL TIME LIMITED AGING ANALYSIS QUESTIONS ON THE PILGRIM LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION (TAC NO. MC9669)
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff conducted a conference call with Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (Entergy or the applicant), on potential time-limited aging analysis (TLAA) questions on the Pilgrim License Renewal Application (LRA). The conference call was conducted on Tuesday, August 1, 2006, between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. at 11555 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852. The list of participants is shown in the enclosure. The following is a summary of the meeting.
The Project Manager for the LRA provided an introduction and said that there were a few remaining questions from the staff's previous Generic Aging Lessons Learned audit conducted at the applicant site during May - July, 2006. These were related to the following three unresolved audit questions that could become potential TLAAs: (i) Control rod drive nozzle-to-end cap weld, (ii) Reactor recirculation nozzle thermal sleeves, and (iii) N2F reactor recirculation nozzle. At the end of the conference call it was resolved that with the exception of item (ii), the other two items were TLAAs. It was decided during the call that a request for additional information would follow in the future.
The applicant had an opportunity to comment on the meeting summary.
