All addressees to this note either have been involved in, or may at some time become involved in the review of license renewal applications. Please remember that any record that you have developed, sent, or received regarding the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station License Renewal Application that is within the scope of the hearing file or mandatory disclosure MUST BE PROMPTLY (WITHIN 3 DAYS) MADE AVAILABLE FOR THESE FILES. This requirement will exist until the proceeding is concluded.

Records within scope for this update are:

1) All correspondence dated 7/1/06 - 7/31/06 that are related to the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station License Renewal application (including emails WITH PROPERTIES PAGES)

2) Predecisional information dated 7/1/06 - 7/31/06 (including emails, notes, draft documents, etc) that is unique (not a duplicate of another record) and that provides insight into the Agency's decision making process.

3) Documents prepared by NRC contractors should be considered in the same manner as those prepared by NRC employees. NRC contract administrators, please contact any contractors working on the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station review and collect the documents.

4) Documents that concern only logistical information (for example, meeting dates, times, schedules) do not have to be submitted. Time spent fulfilling this request should be charged to TAC MC9669. If there are any questions about which documents to submit, please contact Kent Howard.

Any documents or emails that you originated (including any attachments and the email properties page) should be printed out and sent to Kent Howard at Mail Stop 0-11 F1, or brought to his desk at 0-11 F6. Emails to or from the project manager, Ram Subbaratnam, or copied to him, will be collected by Ram and will not require additional action from you.

If you choose to add documents to ADAMS yourself, ensure the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station Docket Number 05000293 is in the profile. Please provide these accession numbers to Kent Howard in response to this request.

It is crucial to the success of the Agency in accomplishing its mission that our record-keeping and disclosure are rigorous and complete. Any one person, whether manager or individual contributor, who does not meet the above outlined responsibilities can jeopardize our success and credibility. Please ensure you are in compliance! Please provide the requested information by August 11, 2006.

It is requested that recipients please forward this email to anyone who will be creating documents that are required to be placed in the hearing file and are not on the initial distribution.
