Thank you for your letter dated November 4, 1988, in response to our Notice of Violation and Inspection Report No.'0-397/88-33, dated October 6, 1988, informing us of the steps you have taken to correct the items which we brought to your attention.
Your corrective actions will be verified during a
future inspection.
We wish to remind you that the results of the test which you conducted on October 11, 1988, cannot be considered conclusive, with respect to continued operability of the main plant vent effluent radiation monitor under low flow conditions.
The reason for this is documented in Inspection Report 50-397/88-36, dated November 4, 1988.
We urge you to perform the additional tests you described in your response to our Notice at the earliest opportunity.
