Dear Jack:
As a follow up to sqy meeting with you on October 20, 1982, I have enclosed a copy of our Tnspection Report 50-382/82-24, which discusses the findings of a special inspection conducted by Eric Johnson and other Region IV inspectors during the period October 4-8, 1982, as to the status of the training of your facility staff. Although say staff did not identify any violations or deviations, they did note their concerns in several areas of the training program and the ability of LP&L to satisfactorily train licensed and nonlicensed personnel in time for fuel load.
As I indicated to you at the time of our meeting, if these cor.cerns are not corrected in a timely manner, it will be difficult for us to make a favorable finding in support of your operating license.
