Gentlemen:
This acknowledges your second response letter dated April 19, 1983, regarding corrective action to be taken concerning Items of Noncompliance Nos. 1 and 2 identified in Inspection Report No. 50-373/83-03. Your commitment to perform tests of the metal detection equipment at LaSalle comparable to tests at the other Commonwealth Edison nuclear stations appears adequate to address our concerns at this time. We will examine this matter during future inspections.
