Sareguards Section Inspection Summary Inspection on August 27-31, 1990 (Report No. 50-341/90012(DRSS))
hreas Inspected:
Routine unannounced physical security inspection involving Alarm Stations and Communications; Power Supply; and Security Training and-Qualification. The inspection also covered followup on previous inspection findings.
Results: The licensee was found to be in compliance with NRC requirements within the areas examined. One previously. identified open item relating to security training records and personnel files is considered closed (341/89-031-03(DRSS)).
The inspector concluded that the security program is being well implemented and is well managed. The experience level (of the security force) due to low turnover is considered a program strength. Although the licensee's training and qualificatir'. program meets regulatory requirements, the

licensee's training sect'.on has identified the need for hands-on tactical I
response training for its instructors. Tactical response training.for the
