Areas Inspected: Routine inspection of nuclear material control and i
accounting including:
Facility Organization and Operation; Shipping and Receiving; Storage and Internal Control; Physical Inventory; and Records and Reports. The inspection involved 16 inspector-hours onsite by a regional based NRC inspector.
Results: The licensee was found to be in compliance with NRC requirements within the areas examined.

30703 - Exit Interview The inspector met with the licensee representatives (denoted in paragraph 1) at the conclusion of the inspection on July 29, 1982 and summarized the scope and findings.

The inspector toured the facility and determined that the licensee's possession and use of special nuclear material was in
accordance with NRC requirements.

Facility Organization and Operation l
No violations were identified.
The inspection results were obtained through discussions with licensee personnel and review of procedures contained within the Nuclear Material Control Manual dated October 31, 1980.
The manual contained adequate procedures for special nuclear material (SNM) control and accounting which were implemented by the licensee.

Shipping and Receiving No violations were identified The inspector determined tt licensee had established procedures to assure that M received or shipped was accurately accounted for.

The licensee established a system of storage and internal control of SNM which provided for current knowledge of the quantity and identify of all SNM within the facility.

Physical Inventory No violations were identified.
The inspector reviewed supporting records that showed physical inventories were conducted'at least annually as required by 10 CFR 70.51(d). The inspector reviewed supporting records which reconciled with the quantity of SNM shown as of March 31, 1982.

Records and Reports No violations were identified.
The inspection results were attained through an audit of all Material Status reports (Form NRC-742) submitted as required by 10 CFR 70.53, for the period April 1, 1979 through March 31, 1982. Material balances for the period reviewed are shown in attached Exhibit r
