Division of Radiation Safety and Safeguards SUMMARY
Scope:
This routine, unannounced inspection involved 24 inspector-hours on
site (two hours on backshift) inspecting:
Physical Security Plan and Implementing Procedures; Management Effectiveness - Security Program; Security Organization; Physical Barriers - Protected Area; Physical Barriers - Vital Areas; Compensatory Measures; Access Control - Personnel; Access Control -
Vehicles; and Communications.
In addition, eight hours of inspection time was expended in conducting a review of the licensee's Audit Program for Background Screening of Contractor Personnel in Raleigh N.C.
Results:
The licensee was found to be in compliance with regulatory requirements in the 10 areas inspected.
Results of the Audit Program review are discussed in paragraph 6 of this report.
