Box 1551 Raleigh, NC 27602 Gentlemen: SUBJECT. REPORT NOS. 50-324/86-02 AND 50-325/86-02 On January 6-10, 1986, NRC inspected ?ctivities authorized by NRC Operating License Nos. DPR-71 and DPR-72 for your Brunswick facility. At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the enclosed insp a tion report. Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within these areas,- the inspection consicted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of activities in progress. Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identified. Your attention is invited to inspector follow-up items identified in the inspection report. These matters will be pursued during future inspections. In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(d) and 10 CFR 73.21, safeguards activities and security measures are exempt from public dist.losure; therefore, the enclosures to this letter, with the exception of the report cover page which presents a nonexempt summary, will not be placed in NRC's Public Document Room.
