This refers to your letter dated February 5,1980, in response to our letter dated January 9, 1980.

Thank you for informing us of the corrective and preventive actions documented in your letter. These actions will be examined during a subsequent inspection of your licensed program.

Regarding paragraph B(1), we understand that your revised procedures require color coding as follows:

(1) White drums are used for the storage and transportation of laundry and respirators.

(2)

Yellow drums are used to contain radioactive and contaminated materials. Only yellow drums will be allowed inside the controlled area.

(3) Drums other th'an yellow or white will be used for other purposes (i.e., non-radioactive trash).

If our understanding is incorrect, please inform us within 10 days, otherwise no reply to this letter is necessary.
