3.0 Discussion

The licensee described reductions made since the end of the SALP period in worker exposures, contaminated floor space, radwaste volume,

radiological occurrence reports, and outstanding action items.
Earlier lack of progress was attributed to poor follow through and lack of personal accountability of the staff. A list of initiatives to improve

the ALARA program and the radiological section organization and staffing was provided.
Copies of handouts from the licensee are attached.
