FINAL REPORT ON SYSTEMATIC ASSESSMENT OF LICENSEE PERFORMANCE, REPORT NUMBERS 50-275/89-32 AND 50-323/89-32 This letter refers to the NRC Systematic Assessment of Licensee Performance (SALP) Board evaluation of Pacific Gas and Electric Company's (PGIIE's)
performance at the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant for the period August 1, 1988 through December 31, 1989. 'n our management meeting on March 22, 1990 as documented in Inspection Report Nos. 50-275/90-12 and 50-323/90-12 dated April 16, 1990, we discussed your plans for addressing a number "of the SALP issues and you indicated at that time that you did not expect to comment further on the SALP report.
This was confirmed with you after issuance of the SALP management meeting report by Hr.'. M. Mendonca of my staff.
Further, we noted that you made no comment in our SALP meeting which would require revision of the SALP report; therefore, the SALP report as issued on March 13, 1990 is considered final.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a),
a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
No reply to this letter is required; however, should you have any questions, we will be pleased to discuss them with you.
