r Special Inspection on June 4-5, 8-9, 25-26, and July 2,1981 (Combined Report Nos.

50-272/81-16 and 50-311/81-15)

Areas Inspected:

Special physical protection inspection conducted as a result of allegations made to the NRC Resident Inspector on June 2,1981 by a Mr. T. Tamasso, Vice F esident, Power Plant Police and Security Officers Union, Local 1.

Mr. Tamasso voiced several allegations regarding performance of the temporary guard force during the ongoing strike by the unionized guard force.

The special inspection involved 12 inspector-hours onsite by one NRC physical security inspector and one NRC investigator.

The in.; ection was begun during regular hours; 4 inspector-hours were accomplished during offshift periods.

Results:

The licensee was found to be in compliance with NRC requirements within the areas examined during this special inspection.
