This routine, announced inspection was conducted in the area of.the Physical Security Program for Power Reactors: specifically; Management Support :

Security Program Plans, Audits, Protected and Vital Area Barriers, Detection and Assessment Aids, Protected and Vital Area Access Control, Alarm Stations-and Communications, Power Supply, lesting and Maintenance of Security System,-

and Security Training and Qualification.

Results:

In the area inspected, violations or deviations were not identified. _During the review of the Security Event Log three licensee _ identified non-citable violations were found (See Paragraphs 2.b,'g and j).

The inspector found two issues which were. discussed with management-during this inspection, one-concerning prompt notifications to security, and the other concerning access authorizations (See Paragraphs 2.a(1).and-(2)). Other than the above, the licensee continues to provide adequate protection of vital resources at Oconee Nuclear Station. Noteworthy was the professionalism and efficient performance of the security force and its management.
