Dear Mr. Palmisano:
This will acknowledge receipt of Mr. David Rogers letter dated July 24, 1998, in response to the statements in our letter dated June 15, 1998, transmitting Inspection Report No.
50-255/98009(DRS) and a Notice of Violation. Your letter dated July 14, 1998, responded separately to the Notice of Violation, which we acknowledged in our letter dated August 7, 1998.

Although no response to our June 15, 1998 letter was required beyond the response to the Notice of Violation, we appreciate your desire to detail the corrective actions taken and planned to improve the implementation of your radiation protection program. We have reviewed these corrective actions and have no fur:ther questions at this time. These corrective actions will be examined during future inspections. *
