.staff at the NRC Regional Office in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, on August 10, 1990, at 10:00 a.m. (CDT).
This meeting is an enforcement conference to discuss the environmental qualification (QP) program at the Dresden Nuclear Station, and recent findings documented in NRC Inspection Report No. 50-237/90016(DRS);
50-249/90015(DRS).
During this meeting you are requested to present to th~
staff why EQ walkdowns, audits or surveillances conducted under the Dresden environmental qualification (EQ), program failed to identify and ensure the qualification. of all electrical components (e.g., terminal blocks and taped splices) required to be within the scope of 10 CFR 50.4 Include in your discussion how the EQ programmatic concerns at the Dres~en Plant relate to the other Commonwealth Edison facilities:
