Dresden Nuclear Plant Meeting Sunmary The findings and conclusions of the SALP Board are documented in Reports No. 50-237/87001 and No. 50-249/8700 They were discussed with the licensee on April 13, 1987, at the Dresden Nuclear Power Station in Morris, Illinoi The licensee's performance was presented in each functional area. Overall performance and perfonnance in each functional area was found to be acceptable, but exhibiting a declining trend since the last SALP assessment perio The performance ratings declined in the areas of Fire Protection/Housekeeping, Quality Programs and Administrativ.e Controls Affecting Quality (Category 2 to Category 3), and Emergency Preparedness (Category 1 to Category 2).
In addition, a declining trend was noted in the area of Plant Operations~
The licensee continues to have a high level of performance in the area of*
Licensing Activities. The licensee was requested to provide a written response detailing their plans for improving performance in the areas of Plant Operations, Fire Protection/Housekeeping, and Quality Programs and Administrative Controls Affecting Qualit While this meeting was primarily a discussion between the licensee and the NRC, it was open to members of the ptiblic as observer The following licensee and NRC personnel were in attendance on April 13, 198 Commonwealth Edison Company B.
