Thank you for your letter of April 30, 1982, to Mr. James G. Keppler,
Regional Administrator, regarding your scheduled completion of actions planned in response to the Emergency Preparedness Evaluation Report (Appendix C) identified in our letter of January 28, 1982.

Your response has been reviewed by our staff and, with exception of minimum shift staffing, we have no further questions on these issues at this time. We will examine your corrective actions during a future j
inspection.
A Safety Evaluation Report is being prepared for emergency preparedness at the Big Rock Point Nuclear Power Plant and will be sent to you in the near future. With regard to minimum shift staffing, the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation and the Office of Inspection and Enforcement are currently reviewing this issue.
