Dear Sir or Madam:

In Reference 1, TXU Generating Company LP (TXU Power) requested NRC review of two previously submitted topical reports describing revised accident analysis methodologies that will be necessary to support design and operating activities, as well as licensing actions, related to the replacement of the CPSES Unit I steam generators. The memorandum of Reference 2 identified a list of questions requiring additional information (RAls) to allow NRC"staff to complete this review. These questions were subsequently discussed between TXU Power and NRC reviewers during several telephone calls to clarify the scope of the additional information required.

As Attachment I to this letter, TXU Power provides the NRC questions related to the LOCA RAls (questions 7 and 8) and TXU Power's response immediately following each question. Attachment 2 contains the NRC questions related to the non-LOC-A RAls (questions 1-6, 9, and 10) and TXU Power's response immediately following" each question.
