Dear Sir or Madam:

By means of Reference 1, TXU Generation Company LP (TXU Power) committed to submit a report with the results of future inspections or mitigation of Pressurizer Alloy 82/182 butt weld locations within 60 days of startup from the outage during which they were performed.

Pressurizer Alloy 82/182 butt weld structural weld overlay was completed for Unit 1 during refueling outage 1RF 12 which ended April 20, 2007. Reference 2 submitted the required information on April 5, 2007. No further action is required for Unit 1 Pressurizer Alloy 82/182 butt welds.

TXX-07091 Page 2 of 2 During Unit 1 refueling outage 1RF12 the reactor pressure vessel head was replaced.

Per Reference 3, no inspections were required during this outage. The type and frequency of future inspections will be performed as required by Section IV.C.(4) of Reference 3 for a replaced reactor pressure vessel head.

This communication contains no new or revised licensing basis commitments for CPSES.
