By Reference 1, Indiana Michigan Power Compa*ny (l&M), the licensee for Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant (CNP) Unit 1 and. Unit 2*, submitted a request for Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) review and approval of a revisiordo the CNP Emergency Plan for Unit 1 and Unit 2. The proposed revision would move the Techni_cal Support Center (TSC) to a different location in a new facility.

When Reference 1 was submitted to the NRG, it did not include the dose calculation that demonstrates the habitability of the new TSC. Reference 1 stated that upon l&M approval of the dose calculation, that it would be.submitted to the NRG as a supplement to Reference 1. This letter

• submits the new TSC dose calculation as a supplement to Reference 1.

By Enclosure 2 to Reference* 1, ,1&M previously provided key input assumptions for the new TSC dose calculation. One of these input assumptions was that the TSC ventilation would be placed in the_ emergency mode of operation within 20 minutes of the start of a loss of coolant accident. The time to place the TSC ventilation in emergency mode was moved from being a key input assumption, of 20 minutes, to being a limitation, of 53 minutes, of the calculation**and is discussed in the Introduction and.in Section 6 of Enclosure 2. The resulting dose that would be received by*

any TSC occupant would remain below the limit of 5 rem in 30 days.

Enclosure* 1 to this letter provides an affirmation statement pertaining to the information contained I herein. Enclosure 2 provides the radiological *analysis-for the new TSC. * ..
