Revised to replace 'JIC activated' with 'JIC operational' to align with the State of Michigan's terminology.

PLANNING STANDARD B- EMERGENCY RESPONSE ORGANIZATION Page 34; 8.5.d.1 and Page 35; 8.5.d .3:

Revised to replace 'JIC activation' with 'the JIC becoming operational' to align with the State of Michigan's terminology.

Revised to replace "Suitable equipment intended for such personnel monitoring stations will be stored in both the OSC and the Training Center." with "Suitable equipment intended for such personnel monitoring stations will be stored in the OSC and Survey Vehicles."

Justification: The Emergency Kit equipment was moved from the Training Center to the Field Monitoring Team vehicles in Cook Emergency Plan, Revision 19, but not all of the changes were implemented at that time. The change was evaluated in 50.54(q) #21-03.

Annual Item 14; Revised from "Test of the Public Notification System" to "Annually validate the reliability/availability of IPAWS."

Justification: The change from sirens to IPAWS was fully addressed and conforms to an activity that has been given prior approval by the NRC and FEMA on April 15, 2021, and documented in the approved Alert and Notification System Evaluation Report. This was also previously documented in the Cook Emergency Plan Revision 45, and evaluated by 10 CFR 50.54(q) Effectiveness Evaluation #21-02.
