Purpose:Verbal request for relief was granted by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) on December 5, 2013 for alternative repairs to Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 3, bottom-mounted instrumentation nozzle #3 for the duration of the unit's next operating cycle (U3C18). Arizona Public Service Company will discuss its proposed supplement to the relief request to extend the repairs to the end of Unit 3 operating life.
