Examinations on May 18-21, 1987.

Oral examinations were administered to four operators and four senior operators all of whom passed. '

The facility administered written examinations to four R0s and six SR0s, all of whom passed with the exception of one R0.

Based on the results described above, three of four R0's passed and six of six SR0's passed.

3. Exit Meeting At the conclusion of the site visit the examiners met with representatives 1 of the plant staff to discuss the results of the examination. )

A There were some generic weaknesses noted during the oral examinations.

The areas of below normal performance were knowledge of radiation detection theory and use of inplant computers for boron calculations.

The cooperation given to the examiners and the effort to ensure an atmosphere in the control room conducive to oral examinations was also noted and appreciated.

The licensee did not identify as proprietary any of the material provided to or reviewed by the examiners.
