FEED AN c ORDER The Commission has received a letter from the Citizens For Fair Utility Regulation ("CFUR") asking that the Commission issue a Federal Register Notice providing for an opportunity for a hearing regarding the anticipated issuance of an operating license for Comanche Peak Unit 2. The NRC Staff may be prepared to issue a low power license for Unit 2 within the very near future.

Therefore, in order to expedite consideration of CFUR's request, pursuant to 10 C.F.R. S2.772(a), the Texas Utilities Electric Company ("TU Electric") , the licensee, should file its response to CFUR's letter so that the response is in the Commission's hands by c.o.b. Monday, January 25, 1993, and the NRC Staff should file its response to CFUR's letter so that the response is in the Commission's hands by c.o.b. Tuesday, January 26, 1993.
