9 Applicant Consumers Power Company hereby m Appeal Board pursuant to 10 C.F.R. SS 2.711 and 2.730(a) for an order extending until January 18, 1982 the time within which Applicant may file exceptions to the Partial Initial Decision (Remand Proceeding) issued by the Licensing Board in this case on December 23, 1981.

As grounds for this motion, Applicant states that the Licensing Board's Partial Initial Decision (Remand Proceeding) in this case was issued and served on December 23,-1981. By the terms of the Decision itself and under 10 C.F.R. S 2.762(a),

exceptions would ordinarily be due on January 7, 1982. Due to the press of other business and the intervention of the holidays, Applicant has not yet had an opportunity to confer 9'?
