GINCA code. This resulted in the incore alarm setpoints being 5R non-conservative. The Florida Power 6 Light Company staff noted during an internal review that the factor had been deleted. The alarm setpoints were promptly corrected to include the penalty factor. A review of transient data for the time involved indicated that the corrected setpoints had not been exceeded. The penalty factor has been reincorporated into the setpoints.

This was the second occurrence (335-76-34) of non-conservative incore alarm setpoints. (335-77-20).

CAUSE DESCRIPTION (Continued) factor had not been deleted from the St. Lucie Technical Specifications.

We have requested that the vendor promptly inform us of any proposed changes to the GINCA code. We are also preparing a proposed amendment to Technical Specification 4.2.1.4- to officially remove the rod bow penalty factor.
