APPLICANT'S REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF TIME On April 15, 1980 David Springer filed a petition to inter-vene in the above captioned proceeding. Pursuant'to 10 CFR 2.714, Applicant's response would be due today, April 30, 1980. However, Mr. Springer's petition to intervene was served on Applicant's counsel at his old address,1 / 2/ -

and thus did not arrive at Applicant's counsel's office until yesterday, April 29, 1980. On April 29, 1980 Applicant's counsel was out of town and engaged in a hearing before another Atomic Safety and. Licensing Board.

'cordingly, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.711, Applicant requests an exten-sion of time until May 9, 1980 to file a response In an effort to clarify this merely procedural matter, Applicant's counsel attempted to obtain Mr. Springer's consent in the requested extension of time. Applicant's counsel was unable to contact Mr. Springer and accordingly files the instant motion.

-1/ The Certificate of Service attached to the Petition to inter-vene indicates that the Applicant's counsel was served at his old address.

2/ By letter of January 15, 1979, Applicant's counsel informed the Bcard and parties of its new address.
