RESPONSE OF INTERVENOR NOW COME the intervenors, through counsel, in response to the Petition by David Springer and do support the Petition for Intervention on the grounds that the additional issues and information offered by the said David Springer would be helpful in reaching a proper decision in this matter and will certainly not cause any delay.
The proposed Perkins Plant has been postponed indefinitely by the applicant and attached to this response is a newspaper article indicating that the applicant has announced an additional three year delay of its Cherokee Plant which was scheduled ahead of the Perkins Plant.
The attached information indicates a significant change in its future construction plans and such change has not been brought to the attention of this Board and is an additional reason why the proposed additional intervention 1
and development of additional facts and circumstances in this matter would be helpful and would provide information which might terminate this matter or require further hearings or decisions which would render some preliminary decisions null and void or require their reexamination.
