STN 50-48v 50-4%)dpg23 ) 50-4! 9- %i (Peckins Nuclear Station, ) Z v.,, ka*sse /Sg7 Units 1, 2 and 3) ) G i M ) v>y e g rcer n~ MOTION TO REOPEN THE RECORD AND k REMAND FOR FURTHER PRODEEDINGS b N NOW COME the Intervenors and do hereby move tha t the Record in this matter be reopened and that it be remanded for further proceedings for the reason that Intervenors have just discovered that the Lake Norman Site "E" was not properly identified or shown by the Applicants and that the mos t recent site identified by the Applicants in the year 1978 and priot to the visit of the Staf f of the Nuclear Wagulatory Commission is a level site with no houses or business such as re f e r red to by the Staff in their testimony.and further that previous maps of the Applicant indicate a location of Site "E" were shown at two diffecent locations and the fact that a total of th r ee diffecent locations for Site "E" is shown on documents pro-duced by the applicant explains the difference in some of the testimony between Intervenor's witnesses and Staf f witnesses and further explains the Staff's conclusions th a t the Lake Notman Site ras not clearly superior even though the water issue weigheo heavily in favor of the Lake Norman Site and that the Site's specific matters mentioned by Staff witnesses-is not celiable in the light of this new information about the shift of location of Site "E" which most likely lead to the disccepancy in th e testimony.
