MOTION OF SOUTH TEXAS ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC. AND MEDINA ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC. FOR LEAVE TO FILE COMMENTS ONE DAY OUT OF TIME South Texas Electric Cooperative, Inc., and Medina Electric

.

Cooperative, Inc. (STEC/MEC) hereby request a one-day extension in the deadline for filing comments on the Stipulation and Pro-posed Licensing Conditions tendered to the Board on September 15, 1980, in the above-captioned antitrust proceeding. During a prehearing conference convened by the Board on that date, a dead-I line of September 24, 1980, was established for submission of I written commer.ts by interested parties.

Because of the significance of these recent developments, STEC management have determined that any comments filed by STEC should receive prior ratification by the STEC Board of Directors. Unfortunately, the Board of Directors meets only once a month, and the regular September meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 25, 1980. In order to afford the Board of 1

Directors the opportunity to consider the recommended comments 8009300 64/ 1
