Beaver Valley Power Station Unit Nos. 1 and 2 Docket No. 71-0275 Renewal of Quality Assurance Program Approval 0275 FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company's (FENOC's)

Quality Assurance Program Approval for radioactive material packages (Approval Number 0275, Revision Number 9) dated September 15, 2004, will expire on August 31, 2009. FENOC hereby requests renewal of the Quality Assurance Program Approval 0275 for radioactive material packages prior to August 31, 2009. In accordance with 10 CFR 71.101(f), FENOC will continue to apply the FENOC Quality Assurance Program Manual with regard to transportation packages.There are no regulatory commitments contained in this letter.
