Dear Colonel Huff:
On May 1-3, 2012, the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC, the Commission) conducted a security inspection at your Research Reactor Facility (Inspection Report. No. 50-170/2012-202). The inspection included a review of activities authorized for your facility. The enclosed report presents the results of that inspection.
The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to security and compliance with NRC rules and regulations, and compliance with the conditions of your license. The inspectors reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, one Unresolved Issue (URI) was determined for a potential non-compliance with NRC requirements was identified. No response to this letter is required.
