Dear Ms. Cindy Montgomery,

The Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (AFRRI) is submitting a supplement to the license amendment request for the Digital Instrumentation and Control Upgrade (EPID L-2020-NFA-0012). This supplement contains responses to the open items identified during the on-going audit being conducted in support of the license amendment request along with proposed changes to the Technical Specifications. For clarity, all previously proposed changes to the Technical Specifications that were detailed in the submittals dated November 10, 2020, February 5, 2021 and February 11, 2021 are superseded by this supplement.

The two documents being submitted are:

  • Responses to Open Items Related to the License Amendment Request for the Upgrade of the Instrumentation and Control System for the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute TRIGA Reactor dated January 7, 2022.
  • Proposed Changes to the Technical Specifications Related to the License Amendment Request for the Upgrade of the Instrumentation and Control System for the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute TRIGA Reactor dated January 7, 2022.
